Vladikavkaz: a terrorist act. (News)

Eleven people were killed in a roadside bombing of a minibus on Thursday in the Russian capital of North Ossetia. An explosive hit the crowded minibus as it stopped outside the entrance to a movie theater and market on a main street in the populous southern Russian city, a police source told Interfax.
Vladikavkaz is separated by the 4-kilometre-long Rokki tunnel from Georgia's breakaway region to the south and is the base for Russia's 58th army which deployed into South Ossetia in August to push back a Georgian assault to retake the region.

Bryan Adams Rocks For Peace in Tbilisi (Georgia news)

Bryan Adams will head to Tbilisi, Georgia, for a September 19th concert billed as Peace, Freedom and Democracy for Georgia. The free concert will take place at 8pm at Rikhe Square in Tbilisi.
Adams has a history of going into country's following periods of unrest - (Vietnam, Pakistan, Jordan, Sri Lanka). It is hoped this symbolic gesture of peace will inspire leaders to consider alternatives to conflict resolution.
