Artificial snow in Gudauri

Artificial snowing of Gudauri and Bakuriani tracks will be available this year. Ministry of economy informs that Gudauri Development Agency and company DEMAKLENKO signed contract about implementation of the artificial snowing project on the Georgian winter resorts on August 30... by the project implementation season opening will not depend on the weather, which will increase the skiing season duration, number of the visitors and profitability of the resorts. Very good! So they learned from last season. I cancelled my trip because of the lack of snow. I cannot do without another year of skiing.  

One more great news. Now you can buy any 7 days or any 10 days a season ski pass and use it on both resorts.

Does this mean that they will be using the snow machines from early December as I arrive the 15th and I am starting to get nervous for the lack of snowfall

The season officially starts the 20th of December so I think you're going to be a few days too early.
